Sensors
What the app can report back to your home, and what each reading costs.
The app can report readings from your phone back to your home, so automations can use them: turn the hallway light on when you get home, pause the music when a call comes in, warn you when the phone is nearly flat.
Every sensor is off until you turn it on. Open Settings → Sensors, pick one, and enable it. Nothing is reported before you do.
Some sensors need an Android permission, and some cost noticeably more battery than others — location most of all. Each entry below says which.
Device and app
Android OS
Android version, security patch level and other read-only properties of the system. Cheap to report; useful for spotting a device that has stopped getting updates.
Current version
The installed version of this app.
App data
How much space the app occupies, split between code, data and cache.
App memory
Heap memory currently used by the app.
App usage
How long the app has been in the foreground and how often it was started.
App importance
Whether Android currently treats the app as foreground, cached or stopped.
Last used app
The app most recently in the foreground. Requires usage access permission.
Last reboot
When the device last started up.
Last update trigger
What caused the most recent sensor update. Useful when chasing missing updates.
