The watch app: pairing, tiles and favourites.

The watch app is a short list of the things you want on your wrist, not a copy of your dashboard.

Pairing the watch

Install the app on the watch, then complete the sign-in from the phone. The phone holds the connection to your home and hands the watch its own credentials.

Choosing what is on the watch

Set the list from Settings → Wear OS on the phone. You can also add a tile, so a swipe from the watch face reaches your favourites without opening the app.

If your server needs a certificate

The watch cannot present a client certificate. Pair from the phone instead — see Client certificates.
