Meta Quest

Running the app on a headset.

The app runs on Meta Quest headsets as an Android app, showing your dashboard on a floating panel.

What is different

  • A headset has no SIM, no telephony and usually no GPS, so the sensors that depend on them report nothing.
  • The headset reports its own readings instead, such as whether it is being worn.
  • Notifications behave as the headset decides, which is not always the same as on a phone.
