Android Auto

The app on your car screen.

In the car the app shows a short, glanceable list rather than your whole dashboard — the things you are likely to want while driving, such as the garage door and the porch light.

Choosing what appears

Set the list in Settings → Android Auto. Keep it short: the car screen is a place for a handful of large targets, not a full dashboard.

The app does not appear in the car

Android Auto only shows apps it has been told to trust. Check the app is enabled in the Android Auto settings on your phone, and that the phone is properly connected.
